Towards regulating the modern trends of human resources management.
On November 15, 2022, the world population reached 8 billion people, which is considered a milestone in the history of human development, and fertility levels are still high in some countries, led by those with the lowest per capita income, which has led to global population growth being increasingly concentrated with the poorest countries, mostly in sub-Saharan Africa, while the population in Europe is decreasing as the population is expected to decline in a number of European countries, as the current level of fertility (about 2.1 children per woman) in all European countries is (un.org/en/global-issues/population).
The participation rate of workers around the world is 59.7%, while the unemployment rate around the world is 5.8%, according to the International Labour Organization (see table below).
The number of participants in the labour force around the world is more than four billion people, more than half of the world’s population, a number that can change the world and bring about its renaissance and development, provided that the workforce is aware that it is working for development and continuous improvement, and that the return will be to serve all the world.
However, the reality is that the world is divided into seven continents, each continent contains a number of large and small countries, and each country makes its employees and workers oriented to serve its own vision in order to achieve its general goals and strategies and in order to achieve its interests and maintain its security and safety.
If we think for a moment about this universe, which is full of sometimes positive and often negative variables, our thoughts will lead us towards the necessity of preserving this universe by employing all human energies for the reconstruction, development, and development of the earth and improving the quality of life of its inhabitants for the better.
The origin of man came from one man, Adam, and then the series of human reproduction began from that moment to the present day, that is, all humans are brothers, and everyone must join hands in order to preserve each other.
Recent trends in Human Resources
The modern trends of human resources management are evolving and changing year after year, and this is normal because the character of change is fixed and a general law in human life. But with this development, I can say that it is partially separate from the reality of some countries, especially those in sub-Saharan Africa with large populations, potentials, and natural resources, but it is not extracted or exploited optimally, and even that its per capita GNI is equivalent to $1.638 for the year 2022 which prevents real development and comprehensive renaissance.
Do poor countries think about digital transformation in human resources management, for example, versus the hunger crisis they suffer greatly from? Or do some countries think about achieving the principle of equal opportunities in work between men and women in exchange for customs and traditions that see women’s work as flawed against men?
Separation from reality is a wrong thing that causes a social crisis that is reflected in institutional work, and human resources management cannot be properly practiced in isolation from understanding the sociology, social behavior and social changes of humans. What is acceptable in one society is not necessarily acceptable in other societies.
Taking into account the reality of societies and what is suitable to be applied in them is wise in human and administrative dealing. This principle made McDonald’s company not provide beef as a meal for Indians in India, because many Indians consider the cow as their goddess.
The modern trends of human resources management published on the pages of the websites of international companies are very much in line with the trends of developed countries that do not suffer from major social crises, where the amenities and safety of the population are available, and where law and public order are applied with ease and reassurance.
Developed countries such as North America have a labour force participation rate of 62.3%, and the individual receives his share of the national income equivalent to $73,934 for the year 2022 (the same as the previous source), with the possession of natural, agricultural and livestock resources that bring self-sufficiency and social and food security to their populations, so they do not feel the suffocating crises and it is natural that their orientations in human resources management are commensurate with the goals of sustainable development.
Summary
The modern trends of human resources management must correspond to the situation of the tri-rated countries (developed countries, developing countries, third world countries), so that each level has orientations commensurate with the social and developmental reality to achieve a real renaissance.
There must also be an organization that manages the file of global human resources management under one umbrella and serves as a regulator to achieve sustainable development and human development that serves the entire world.
