The power of women in the business world has become stronger and much harder to ignore. Women are a force to be reckoned with and this has become evident over the years.
Leadership has been a concept associated with men while women strive to make their mark by rewriting the narrative. The dynamics within the business environment could be shifted by encouraging women to aim higher and do better in every aspect necessary.
For many years, women have been more transformational than men leaders as they care a lot about personal development and emphasize on teamwork. Black women are disadvantaged where business opportunities are concerned as a result, they strive to make a footprint along their path to success for other aspiring young businesswomen.
The Leadership Coaching industry has a high participation of white women coming out to show what leadership is about and how it is done. It seems the obstacles of patriarchy in the industry is still prevalent and yet women manage to find a balance to graciously lead and strive for the best.
The business world needs to accommodate more female representatives which will in turn influence how businesses operate. Women are natural born leaders and their authenticity poses so much power within the business realm. It takes a special human being with a gentle approach to situations that require tough decision making instantly.
In doing so they should value and encourage each other to do bigger and better things, not just in the business front but in life. The influence of a woman with experience is 10 times more powerful than that of a man and that is an effective tool if used properly.
Women should keep reengineering the business dynamics which makes them a strong force by being bold and expressive.
Our future generations need to learn from us that women are more than caregivers who might be perceived as weak and soft. They are influential, empowering, strong, opinionated and yet graceful which sums up the qualities of what leadership should be about in the next generation.
Women’s day should be celebrated everyday not just in the month of August. They are selfless, dependable, and hardworking as they continuously feel the need to prove themselves amongst their male counterparts.
There is a void in gender balance within the business environment. Humility is the first element every individual should harness and carry through to become successful without misogynistic behaviour. Women have managed to find a balance between work, personal and home life irrespective of the challenges they face daily in the working environment. Furthermore, it is evident that under no circumstances do women risk the chances of performing their utmost best and still manage to be great.
